Of all the trailers released during the Comic Con, I think Wonder Woman is the best so far. See for yourself:

One of my absolute favorite films is Romy and Michelle's High School reunion. I mean, you would probably pretend that you invented post-its if could get away with it, right? In this exclusive video by HuffPost, the film's star Mira Sorvino meets the real inventor of post-its and apologizes for claiming his invention. Laughter ensues.

Michael Fassbender is one of my favorite actors but I really didn't see him as a good actor for the new Steve Jobs movie. However, it looks like I could be wrong. Even Jobs' old buddy and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak was in awe of his performance. He even said it was like watching the real Steve Jobs in action. There's a lot of expect from this movie. Apart from differentiating itself from the disappointing Ashton Kutcher movie, the script was written by Aaron Sorkin!

Today is a special day for all Marvel fans! We finally have confirmation of what the Marvel Cinematic Universe is going to look like until the end of this decade. Two Avengers movies, Black Panther and the first female lead, Captain Marvel!

So this trailer was supposed to be shows on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D but it got leaked. Damn, it would have pulled in viewers and beat its DC rival 'The Flash'. Anyway, Marvel eventually released an HD version of the crappy leak. The result: another future billion dollar movie coming in May 2015.

If you've seen X-Men: Days of Future Past, I'm sure you have a few questions to ask the people behind the film. Without a doubt, it is the best film of the entire X-Men franchise but that doesn't mean it's necessarily the one without flaws.
Here are some of your questions:

1. Why the hell is Professor X alive?

In 'X-Men: The Last Stand', there was scene where he was teaching a class, explaining how it is possible to transfer one's consciousness into someone else's body. The post-credits scene reveal that he transferred his own consciousness to a body being treated by Moira Mactaggert.

Also worth noting is that Moira's character in X3 is a doctor - in 2005. How could she be alive during X-Men: First Class as a CIA agent?

2. How did Magneto get his powers back?

In X3, beast injected Magneto with 'The Cure' that turns mutants into ordinary humans. It was presumed that he lost his powers. However, in the scene before the end credits, we saw a chess piece move without him touching it. A little weird isn't it? It's either the serum didn't work or the mutant where it came from had the power to undo the effects of his DNA.

3. Surprise! Jean Grey is alive! Does this mean that the whole Phoenix episode in X3 didn't happen? Will we finally see the REAL storyline of the Phoenix and The Dark Phoenix (which is my favorite X-Men storyline)?

4. How did Wolverine get his metal claws back?

One really has to analyze this in a chart to know the answers. Clearly, The Wolverine happened sometime in the future. If his claws were cut by the Silver Samurai, why does he have his metal claws back on X-Men DOFP? More importantly, how did he get them back? Another adamantium infusion?

This is THE biggest gathering of superheroes! The final trailer of X-Men: Days of Future Past features a whole lot of goodies. It looks like Rogue really ended up in the cutting room. But if the rumors about the script are true, she may have a short but very, very important scene in the movie.

2013 was a great year in movies. Two of my favorites are 'Before Midnight' and 'Pacific Rim'. I am expecting a lot from film producers this year. We'll see a lot of print-to-film adaptations, reimagined classics and a few tireless franchises. Sit back, relax and enjoy the movie.



The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (May 2) - I read somewhere that we won't be seeing Spider-man join The Avengers anytime soon. Sony holds the movie rights for all Spider-man films while Marvel has the rights to all Avengers-related franchises. Anyway, we won't be short of spider webs this year. The sequel to the franchise reboot looks very, very good.





Gone Girl (Oct 3) - The best-selling novel 'Gone Girl' arrives in theatres with Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike. I haven't read the book but it's supposed to be really good.
 





Maleficent (May30) - A villain in her own movie? And it's Angelina Jolie?!

Here are some more Comic Con goodies! This time courtesy of Bryan Singer and the cast of the highly anticipated film "X-Men: Days of Future Past". I am SO excited to see this movie. It will feature more mutants, Sentinels and well, the past and future X-Men characters!

One of the highly anticipated films is 'Veronica Mars'. It made history when it raised $2 Million in 10 hours as a kickstarter project. That's how much the fans missed the TV show! They released a promo video which features the theatrical trailer of the movie. It'll be out next year.
