Cheonggyecheon Laser Light show - Korea Night # 3

One of the things you should see when you go to Korea is the Cheonggyecheon Laser Light show. I was told that this was featured on 'Rated K' just recently when they did a South Korea special. The show runs for 8 minutes every thirty minutes, which starts at 8:30PM. And since I wanted to hit two birds with one stone that day, I decided to meet my friend Amy at Cheonggyecheon on my last night in Korea.


Cheonggyecheon was once a dirty creek surrounded by shanties until the government initiated a redevelopment program in 2005. This is what it looked like before:

The final cost of the project was $386 Billion so you can just imagine how infuriated the Korean people were about this major expense. However, when it opened in 2005, it quickly became a famous destination for tourists and locals.

The light show was amazeballs by the way. It's definitely a cheap way to entertain yourself! Look at these amazeballs photos:
