This is sad (and a little bit hilarious- sorry). Amy Herbst, a professional Opera singer is suing the doctors who delivered her baby after she developed chronic flatulence after delivery. Apparently, a complication caused a "complete breakdown of the epsiotomy and perineum", leaving her vagina and rectum somehow connected.

In her suit, the mezzo soprano who performed with the Nashville Opera Company, said her excessive farting became deterrent to her job.
