If you've seen The Avengers, you'd agree that it is, by far, the best movie adaptation of any Marvel Comics series. Yes, it's even better than the X-Men trilogy! It stayed very faithful to the original story in the comics. Here are 10 great things about The Avengers:

1. It is arguably one of the best 3D movies out there! The eye-popping animations were spectacular (compared to the disappointing 3D conversion of movies like 'Clash of the Titans').

2. Each character had a chance to shine. They got to show off their skills and powers - even the Black Widow and Hawkeye who both did not possess any mutant powers.

3. They did a great job building momentum by showing previews of The Avengers on the previous Marvel movies. This time, they showed us that Thanos will be the next villain. That storyline was also confirmed by the appearance of the Infinity Gauntlet on 'Thor'.

4. There was a lot of humor! And the timing was perfect! Thor's lines have been immortalized! 

5. There was no shortage of action. I love the part where they each take on the Chitauri aliens and the camera pans to each location of the Avengers.
