Naomi Campbell's Amazing Eye-Shaped Home

Thursday, September 29, 2011

If there is one thing worth blogging about today, it's definitely Naomi Campbell's eye-shaped house - a gift from his Russian billionaire boyfriend, Vladislav Doronin. (Photos from CNBC)

Located in Turkey's Sedir Island a.k.a. Cleopatra island, this 25-bedroom Eco-House was designed by Spanish architect Luis Garrido, who specializes in sustainable building. The structure not only resembles the Egyptian Eye of Horus, it is also completely energy, food and water self-sufficient. The black outline of the estate is composed of photovoltaic panels which work with the geothermal system that provides energy for the entire house.

What's even more amazing is that the structure was designed to stay cool in the summer and stay warm during winter without the help of air conditioners and heaters. The design helps to naturally sustain itself on any season.

That's an extremely lavish gift for a girlfriend on her 41st birthday!
